SUJEEVANA GRAMEENABHIVRUDDI SAMSTHE® is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering rural and marginalized communities through financial inclusion, financial literacy, Self Help Group (SHG) strengthening, skill training, women empowerment, and rural development. The organization works at the grassroots level with the belief that sustainable development is possible only when communities are financially aware, skilled, organized, and self-reliant.
The organization focuses on promoting financial inclusion by enabling access to formal banking services, credit facilities, insurance, pensions, and digital financial systems for rural households and SHG members. Through structured financial literacy programmes, beneficiaries are educated on savings habits, budgeting, responsible borrowing, credit management, and long-term financial planning, helping them achieve financial security and independence.
A key area of work is SHG Group Support, where SUJEEVANA GRAMEENABHIVRUDDI SAMSTHE® supports the formation, nurturing, and strengthening of Self Help Groups, particularly women SHGs. The organization provides capacity-building support in leadership, group governance, bookkeeping, savings and credit management, and facilitates bank linkages and access to government welfare schemes. SHGs are encouraged to undertake collective income-generation activities and micro-enterprises to improve household incomes.
Through Skill Training programmes, the organization equips rural youth, women, and SHG members with practical, market-oriented skills that enhance employability and promote self-employment. Training programs include vocational skills, entrepreneurship development, financial management, and basic digital skills, aligned with local market needs. Post-training guidance and handholding support are provided to help beneficiaries start or strengthen livelihood activities.
Acts of support, no matter how small, have the power to ease burdens, uplift spirits, and inspire others to do the same. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, donating to a cause.
To create inclusive, empowered, and self-reliant rural communities where women and youth have access to financial services, skills, and opportunities that enable sustainable livelihoods, social equality, and improved quality of life.
